I have the soul of a 20-year-old, but am somewhat north of 30. I live in the beautiful state of Maine, where I write and play and look forward to seeing a moose one of these days.
I’m a full-time college student, working hard to reach my goal of being a successful freelance writer. I will complete my Associate degree in Liberal Studies in December 2008. After that, I plan to earn my Bachelor’s degree in Media Writing with a Business minor.
I am a world-class cheapskate, living quite well within my means. And by “means”, I’m talking about living solely on student financial aid. Yes, my budget is tight, but I’m living well because my goals for the future are more important than anything else I can waste my money on today.
I want to help bring back the old-fashioned arts and sciences of Home Economics. I see too many people who have no clue of how to take care of themselves and maintain a home. Sure, we need to live out there in the world, but we also need to take care of business at home. It’s a tough balance, but it can be done.
